Linda Faye Gordon-Nickelson was born and raised in Pickens, Arkansas, to Fred and Pearl Gordon. She is the sixth child of 12 siblings. She graduated from Reed High School. She migrated to California then Chicago in 1972 and has resided in Oak Park, IL for 16 years. She is the mother of four children, Michelle, Chavas, Brianna and Pearl. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Richmond University, is a certified Minister, Sunday school teacher, tax associate and a certified massage therapist.
