My book is not to talk about myself as on an ego trip, but to inform and enlighten my family and relatives of what I know and remember of our ancestors and the time slot in which we lived.

I want you to have a better understanding of the stock you came from; to feel as proud of your antecedents as I do. They set the standards of family values for us to live by. I have aimed to make our ancestors come to life as real people, experiencing happiness, sorrows, success and difficulties as each passed through.

I started my literary journey in life with the setting of my childhood days in the scenic mountains of West Virginia which has been etched forever on my mind.
